Hubballi-Dharwad Traffic Police Take Action Against Overcrowded School Van

Hubballi: The South Traffic Police of Hubballi-Dharwad have taken stringent action against a school van for carrying an excessive number of students, highlighting serious safety concerns. The incident came to light when a video showing students riding on top of the van’s carriage went viral on social media, sparking widespread outrage and prompting immediate police intervention.

Upon noticing the alarming footage, the South Traffic Police swiftly identified and fined the school administration for violating traffic regulations and endangering the lives of young students. The police highlighted the legal and safety implications of transporting students beyond the van’s designated capacity.

During the intervention, the police not only imposed a fine but also conducted a sensitization session for the school authorities.
